The world has been a stage for Eric, who has been in a dozen bands and in shows from Utah to Los Angeles to Okinawa. He attended the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, Calif. At age eight, Eric was invited by his father to learn to play guitar together, and was playing live music by age 15. Today he plays his own custom-built guitars, is an expert multi-genre’ player, from rock, pop, jazz, soul, funk and fusion. His musical home, always was and forever will be, the blues. His influences include Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Matt Schofield.
Drums
: John started playing drums at age seven and was playing professionally at age 12. He is endorsed by Tama drums and Zildjian cymbals, and has played everywhere from the Caribbean to Nashville to Tokyo. John is currently playing with America’s Got Talent finalist Kenadi Dodds, and Nashville recording star Katie Mathews. He was also the founding member of popular Salt Lake City band The Given. He is the “go-to” drummer in several local bands. His drumming influences include Buddy Rich, Steve Gadd, Jeff Pocaro and Vinnie Colaiuta.
Bass, Keyboard, Vocals
Jim was a bassist in horn bands—jazz and funk—in Salt Lake City and Ogden for years. He is a retired daily newspaper journalist. He has spent the requisite 10,000 hours teaching himself the piano and keeping up his bass skills during his long hiatus from the stage. He got his first bass and joined his first garage band at age 14. His bassist icons are Less Claypool and Tal Wilkenfeld. His keyboard influences are Jimmy Greenspoon, Randy Newman and Trent Reznor.
